Leonie is a portrait and music photographer and has previously been commissioned by The Face, X Ray Magazine and Sleazenation as well as having work published in various books.

Since her adolescence, Leonie has always been drawn to subcultures. Once a die-hard mod, she then became fascinated by the colourful characters and vibrancy of the rockabilly scene. Going to dive-bars in Soho, rockabilly festivals all over the UK, burlesque nights and jive competitions, a camera permanently poised to get THE shot. She has since become a regular on the scene and her intimacy with the characters shows through the images. These images show the true authenticity of the personalities on the scene and the diversity - from 50s teenagers to glamourous girls, psychobillies and even hillbillies.

This collection consists of 25 photos - intimate portraits and gritty documentary photographs, taken over the last 7 years on the UK rockabilly scene, capturing private moments as well as considered portraits.
